June 2014 Pet of the Month
Meet our June 2014 Pet of the Month
June features both Tom and Dick because they wouldn’t have it any other way. These two are an inseparable pair. They are proficient hunters and along with their reluctant partner in crime, the barn snake, keep their perimeter clear of vermin. With that said, these two are not ones to pass on a free meal. No need to worry if you don’t see them all day or all night; just wait until breakfast (or supper) and they’ll come strolling in. You can set your watch by it. Sometimes they might even come flying in with a neighboring dog or a coyote in tow, Although I have never seen it, I’m convinced, once safely in the barn, they laugh and high 5 each other as barn snake looks on shaking his head and the pursuer retreats – defeated again.
